Dusting: Foot traffic and dry soil can act like sandpaper on the fiber. Dust and particulate matter lying deep within the rug are removed using compressed air and specially designed tools. This step is often referred to as “air washing” or “dusting” of the rug. Vacuuming, shaking, or beating of the rugs are not nearly as effective.
Pre-Treatment: Spots, spills and stains are treated using the most advanced spotting techniques and chemicals.
Steam Cleaning: Traffic and heavily soiled areas are worked on using specially designed equipment. This involves a process of agitating, dissolving, suspending and extracting the ground in soils. (Unfortunately, discoloration due to wear, fading, or chemical reactions not reversible.)
Rinsing: This further removes soil and cleaning residue helping to restore the natural feel.
Restoration: The rug is combed with special grooming tools, helping to restore the natural look of your rug.
Drying: The rugs are dried in our climate controlled drying room. Drying time is less than 24 hours.
